The Steelers are 8-3! Don’t panic! Secondly, Russ has been moving beautifully in the pocket. That has actually been a pleasant thing to watch this year. Russ isn’t immobile; he’s REFUSING to run out of his desire to extend his career past 40. But he just turned 36 today! He needs to worry about the here-and-now HERE AND NOW! Russ’s legs still churn. He was the NFL’s 8th leading rusher just last year, and he didn’t even play a full season or have many designed runs. Furthermore, he has looked great when he has scrambled for yards. Russ hasn’t run out of anything, but understandably you pose the question because you were always against him being the starter anyway. Russ’s problem is the same as that of the RBs, WRs, and O-Line: Arthur Smith! He has got to go, and I suspect he’s done in January. The Steelers need to target Brian Schottenheimer, under whom Russ played the best and most explosive football of his career. And yes, GP isn’t getting any separation and the receivers don’t extend their routes. The Seahawks coached that, which Russ took for granted. Having said that, if Smith pulls it together, Russ may be about to heat up!

Tomlin wants to ride with the defense and field position. He also wants a healthy team for that first round game. I think he's willing to sacrifice games for health. Freiermuth gets hurt every year, TJ seems to also. We can win on the road in the playoffs. We can't win if we're hurt. Tomlin is coaching at a different level. In the big picture, these games don't mean nothing. If you want to be the best, you have to beat everyone in the playoffs. Not the regular season.

Last week after the Baltimore game everybody was talking about how amazing Pittsburgh defense special teams an offense was playing at a high level everybody was talking about super bowl now the media is talking about how we're going to only win maybe one more two more games from the super bowl talk to maybe making the playoffs we do not need Justin fields we need to sign him and make a trade with another team and hopefully they make a trade for very good defensive lineman are a very good tight end we do not need a wide receiver we need a good tight end that's all we're missing from the team but getting a tight end and using him is another thing I wish I had the chance to call the offense because I would definitely will call it different I will play the Titans more often I will tell Russell Wilson look at the whole field not just one player if he's not open throw that ball to the open receiver he's looking at what the coaches are telling him to do and not Russell Wilson play Russell sees the whole field he know you to go back to the way he was playing and read your second and third option if your first often is not open being a starting quarterback in the NFL you need to see the whole field and we need to stop playing all four down not get the last 2 minutes of the first half in the last 2 minutes of the end

I've seen Russell move. He can still scramble. I don't know what games you guys are watching. What I don't hear often, is the O-line. Games are won in the trenches. And that O-line keeps getting beat off the snap. Their pass protection is below average. Most of Russell's passes he has defenders in his face and makes his passes off of his back foot. That has to change. The O-Line has to get better. Also in run blocking. They are terrible. It seems that everyone looks only at the QB in games. It's their fault. It not that simple. There are alot of moving parts in each snap. Russ is alright. Give him the time Goff gets in the pocket and he'll dissect a defense. QBs has to have time to survey the field and for plays to develope. And the only way that is made possible is if the offensive line can provide that time. This redzone conversation. Can it. You seem to have forgotten dropped passes in the endzone. Forgotten that all of GPs and Pat's TDs are all inside the redzone. You also had a redzone pass and TD taken due to a B.Jones facemask penalty. You guys are nitpicking. How many game win did we get with Boswell leg? 2 first game of season with J.Field and once with Russ. But yall wanted Fields to stay the starter and call this a problem with Russ. Stop it.
