Darius Slayton is another name I'll look at too. I'm sure he is not happy with the NYG. He is only 27 and on a very cheap contract, making like 7 million. I'm sure he will re-sign with Pittsburgh for like $13-15 million per year on a 3-4 year deal.

I know we're thin at WR and need another stud, but we got Roman Wilson coming back... and its not like he was a dart throw to begin with. Such a shame he missed preseason and the first 2 games. I really think he will be a difference maker. Pickens/ New WR= L & R mid-deep, Wilson/ Jefferson= slot/ middle, RBs/ TEs= screens & dump offs. Add Fields and his legs plus our Defense, and then we can buy some time to have the team gel, while we tighten the screws. A lot of rookies, developing O-line, bare bones at WR and a new system/ OC... then some impatient fans expect miracles because they want a nostalgic reflection of our glory days. We should be lucky as Steelers fans that even during a rebuild, we are still above .500 and at least get to the playoffs. Tons of teams that are bottom feeders and in long playoff draughts. We'll get back to form soon enough everyone GO STEELERS!!!

With Troy going on IR and Broderick struggling I do not think the passing game will be a priority. I’m thinking they’ll be looking for Oline help and running the football.
