I'm a fan of Russ, wherever he plays. He never deserved what he endured the past few years. So glad to see him on a team he can win another Bowl with.

Peace…Little known fact: Coach Mike Tomlin is from or connected to The Great Coach Chuck Noll coaching tree by way of Coach Tony Dungy: He (Tony Dungy) got his start in the NFL as a player for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1977, and then circled back as a coach in 1981. He was a DBs coach for three seasons before taking over as the defensive coordinator in 1984 for five seasons, all under head coach Chuck Noll. Tomlin was hired as the defensive backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2001 under head coach Tony Dungy, where Tomlin first learned the Tampa 2 defense that he would use in later coaching jobs.

He did not say Mike Tomlin is the best coach he’s ever had. He simply said CoachT Is the world’s best. He’s very careful and self-aware to praise some of his past coaches, even though he could have made some read-between-the-lines comments about several of them. Yet, even given these alley-oops, he does not dunk on them with underhanded shots. He gives them their flowers while also complimenting Coach Tomlin on his outstanding career and for this, their moment together.
