Fields has been one of the few bright spots on this team benching him for a qb that another team is paying to play for the steelers is why the steelers haven't been contenders in 10 years and won't be until tomlin is gone wilson will get smoked behind this offensive line but hey with a little luck maybe the mediocre streak will live on of course next year fields walks and the steelers have no qb again

Good grief! The defense has sucked the past two games and no one can catch or hold onto a damn ball! At least Justin isn’t throwing interceptions like some other QB’s. Rodgers threw 3 or 4 INTERCEPTIONS against the Seahawks and got sacked multiple times. Justin threw 0 interceptions, turned the ball over 0 times and got sacked maybe 3 times. One was a late hit. Wtf does this guy got to do. He needs a better O-line ) Broderick Jones sucks! They need another receiver, but whatever, keep blaming him for a TEAM LOSS. Justin was 4 for 9 because people couldn’t hang onto the ball. Yes, he overthrew a few…but tell me what QB doesn’t. You guys are too much. Ray hasn’t liked Justin since the beginning, so I’m not surprised by him blaming Justin for these 2 losses. Put Russ in under these same conditions and he can’t escape the pocket or extend plays with his legs…good luck with that boys!

Pittsburgh is short offensely very short so tell me isn't the OL, WR, RB? So i get Russ is going to make all this go away? JF drive the team down the field to a TD. How many drop balls? They stink because they are starting a bad QB. Teams just have to gameplan to stop the RB and contain his option runs. There is not one team in the NFL that's fearful of Fields defeating them with the passing game. The Steelers have to scheme around Fields. He has happy feet, doesn't make proper reads, can't read defenses, has to have the field cut in half, is incredibly turnover prone, is not comfortable under center, and is not allowed to audible when the 3rd stringer is. Fields is a replacement level QB, nothing more.

When they enter the NFL they begin to teach them how to work under center. You don't know football all you know is we want Russ just like the rest of them. The Russ of 13 yes ago you'll never get period, that's dead, gone, good-bye. Fields is the guy for this slow working OF, OL, WR and let say again you can't win with one WR and a poor run game. Fields isn’t the problem. No running game. Lack luster O line. Worst receivers in the league. Defense that’s been sketchy last 2 games. You can’t really brag on a defense that gave up a 90 and 70 yard drive in the 4th quarter last game. Dak picked them apart just like Flacco. Stop putting it all on Fields. Wilson is not going to be a savior. There’s to many problems for one player to fix. Honestly, Fitapauldo and Dulac are just talking heads and Wilson groupies. @Genedub10 The running game is bad because there is not even a hint of danger coming from our passing game. Fields isn't even allowed to audible. The 3rd stringer was. Teams will let Fields run all day for his 40-60 yds and don't mind him completing all of the under 10yd passes he wants. Everyone throws for 300 yds against the Colts. They can't tackle or cover, and their D-coordinator is on the hotseat.

Fields 43 starts. Only 9 games out of 43 with 2 or more passing TDs. Out of those 9, only 2 resulted in wins. He is a mediocre QB at best.

I have to disagree. The Steelers play VERY well within the division so i can see it being just like last year. MAYBE, they drop 1 in the division but I doubt it. As bad as everyone says our offense is i think it's still better than cincinnati's defense, Lamar Junkson hasn't beaten the Steelers since week 3 of 2019, and the Browns are the Browns so I say possible division sweep. I also feel like we play better ball in the second half of the season so I almost feel like we can pull off some upsets against a couple of what the media calls "elite " teams. Let's face it, Mahomes and KC aren't what they used to be, Buffalo in my opinion is good but not great. I think if the Steelers can get their heads out of their asses and start playing true Pittsburgh football, they could have a shot at a playoff win or 2. But, again, that's IF they get their heads out of their asses. Let's remember, we went 5-1 in the division last year with 3 qbs that, combined, don't have the talent or pure skill as either of the 2 that we have now. Out of those 3 that we DID have Mason was by far the best. If they would have given him the shot right from jump they might have made more noise.
