My biggest concern as a bills fan. Isn’t the turnovers. It’s the injuries to Milano, tre white, Rasul Douglas, Gabe Davis, Isaiah Hodges, Taylor rapp, Micah Hyde banged up. Tj watt is out but I just named like half our defense that’s hurt. People aren’t talking enough about how big of a deal it is that McDermott has taken this absolute injury ridden defense and has stopped dynamic offenses. But I’m concerned it’ll run dry eventually

They are not a smash mouth run team like the Steelers with Najee and Warren. Dolphins are a speedster team that needs wide open holes to get going. Najee is going to beat you up physically and tire you out , and then Warren comes in and pops a big one. This is gonna be in freezing weather and that does not bother the Steelers one bit. For people outside The Steelers fandom after this game you will know about Nick Herbig. Golden is a starter capable Edge as well with multiple double digit sack seasons so they definitely are in better shape to take care imof Watts absence this time. Getting Minkah back to rally the backend is huge as well, this is gonna be a fun game

Buffalo's best chances in the playoffs (as far as talent level on their defense) were the 2019-'21 seasons. But they lost in the playoffs all those seasons (@Houson and twice @KC) because they never called any 5-man(or more)pass-rushes on defense. They did start calling more of those on defense in 2022 and this season, but their 1st-string talent level on defense has somewhat declined the last couple of seasons (very similar to what has happened in Cincinnati). Is it too late now? While Buffalo 1st-string 3rd-year DE#50 Greg Rousseau has quickly risen to very high-end and RDT#92 DaQuan Jones is right up there playing the best football of his 10-year NFL career, it's Buffalo 2nd-string DE#57 AJ Epenesa and 3rd-string DE#59 Kingsley Jonathan who should be playing more than the declining DE#56 Leonard Floyd. Not to take anything away from how both Leonard Floyd and especially Von Miller helped Rams win Super Bowl two years ago but that was then. Backup DEs #57 AJ Epenesa and #59 K.Jonathan have got to get more playing time than Floyd and Miller to hep Buffalo be as good as they can be these playoffs but it seems as though chances are against that.

No, he was greedy and had Ben stay (and Ben took a pay cut his final year to get TJ paid!!) Yinz talk about Tomlin like he’s this great coach that turns 💩 into sugar. That’s a LIE. These guys don't know much about Buffalo's D. Did you not see what happened to Achane in the 2nd half? Completely disappeared and he was only getting yard in the first half on some very clever movement and misdirection plays. But we now have a healthy Jones and Oliver in the middle of the line. And then Rasul Douglas got hurt in the Mia game and his bk uo is Dane freaking cook an absolute STUD I'm praying 🙏 Douglas is back healthy for Sunday. It's great having a guy like Dane Cook backing up but Douglas is better than Tre at this point. He's a legitimate top 10 cb with the numbers he's put up here. And the point is they always made adjustments and stopped the run which is why they rank well defensively.
