Jesus bro, Howard played extremely well last year. Miami was pretty lock down on the outside last cause of Howard Ramsey. Crazy that mustache doesn't know anyone outside of the Steelers

I actually like the idea of Burks. I’ve been saying Friermuth is a WR2 in this style of offense. If he stays healthy dude is a weapon! GP, Friermuth, Burks, Roman Wilson. I wouldn’t be mad at that.

Stephon Gillmore had great grades and stats the last 3 seasons...I believe he is the best option at bringing in a CB - no on Cam Sutton that ship has sailed (NFL will suspend)

So If GP goes down, that’ll leave CA, Burks, A rookie, Quez and Jefferson as our corp, that’s going to make things tough on us. If this is the route they’re going, I hope they have something up their sleeve.

Even if Pickens plays, he will be double teamed. His route skills have yet to overcome that. That means Roman Wilson must be a stud right away or Austin must. They didn’t get enough for Diontae. Very risky trade.

we used to think JUJU was our #1 WR while we had AB (took all the CB1's his way). We'll see if GP will thrive without any other WR with him. I do think however that since we improved the QB room ( and real OC), they will find ways to get him the ball.

Take it with a grain of salt, but PFF Grades: Sauce Gsrdner = 88.6 Gilmore = 74.4 Joey Porter Jr = 65.2 Peterson = 60.5 Cam Sutton = 56 Howard = 55.1

The Steelers made room in cap space. I can see them offering some of this cap space to one of the older veteran players. Stephon Gilmore played at a very high level last year and even at a CB1 level in Dallas last year. I wouldn’t expect him to drop off so much in one season to the next. He is no doubt a capable CB2 at the absolute least. Then you can move Jackson to the slot where he has some experience.

@noahstrackbein With the frustration of George pickens has been shown in his first 2 years, does that become a concern being our veteran wr if we don't trade for one? He's given up on multiplle blocking plays last season.... Visions of a younger AB. thoughts on this because it might be a future issue even wiht veteran qb play...?

He played last year towards the end if the season. He even had an Int but coukdve had 3 Ints but dropped the other 2 that he should've had. It was when minkah was out for awhile and then Joey porter Jr missed like a game or 2 plus other injuries to the secondary.

They won't sign Boyd that would give them way too many slot receivers. They need another WR that plays mainly on the outside. Plus they drafted Roman Wilson who played in the slot mainly in his college career
