Even atheist scholars such as Bart Ehenan scoff at the foolish notion that Jesus may possibly be a myth or legend. His crucifixion is reported on even by non biblical sources by historians of that time, such as, Tacitus and Josephus. Perhaps when you said, "No imaginary Jesus helped you...", you meant that you do acknowledge him as a person that existed, but don't think he can help people today. I personally believe he did ressurect and does help people in spirit. But even if that were to be false. Even someone like Payton Wilson who believes in him 2000 years later, still can be such a strong belief that it's pushing him to be the greatest version of himself.
