How we miss Terry.

Wow, first time I've heard this. KZbin serendipity of course, as I'm listening to the audio book of "I Shall Wear Midnight". Poor Tiff, Terry was very hard on the poor girl, but surely the kinship of the Feegles was a huge consolation. Dear God, I would love to hear Terry's thoughts on this song. There are no sentiments here that he would not have considered. I've read all his books many times, except the Shepherd's Crown. That one I read, once, through tears, and will never read again. 😢

Thank you! You may find it interesting to read the article about the story behind the song (linked in the description field under the video).

I refuse to read it, I read a critics view of it, and was very sad, as he didn't take into account how much difficulty they all had finalising it with terry being so ill. Besides Granny W. Dies. My favourite witch. Can't face it! I'm stopping at Midnight.

@@heatherhoward2513 my comment wasn't about the quality of the book, just about the sorrow. I grew up reading Terry Pratchett's books in the absence of any real family emotional input, buying each new publication as it came out and learning humanity and morality from his amazing characters. Granny Weatherwax's death graphically symbolised the end of that path and was very painful. I have no interest in what any critic has to say about any of his books.

@@sveinbh7777I just took a look, wonderful to hear the great man was involved, and that there is a whole album to listen to. O dear, here comes another emotional overload 😢!

One day we shall wear midnight. Not today, but one day. Maybe tomorrow.
