Interesting to note there was a red hook in the upper inside jaw on the fishes port side of the male you caught (6:25). I’ve learned so much from watching your videos! Thank you for all the content!!!

Hey Danny is there a certain size pin reel that I should buy to fish stock trout to 10-15 lb trout ?? Or are the reels pretty well rounded to fish any size fish!! I have a smaller reel now I really just started but I’ve pretty much have the casting down and landing fish most more consistent !! But I’m not to knowledgeable about what size reel to use that versatile !! I’ve been told 5 inch is pretty good size!!

Not sure what I'm doing wrong I use a 6 gram black tip float I use eggs I bought at your store used your guide to rigging for steelhead, I trot my float use 4 lb fleurocarbon and I only catch jacks and usually just 1

Keep at it and keep trying different depths with your float/different shot patterns. Sometimes a few inches up or down on the float or slowing the float a little less through the deep spots and slower through the shallow spots can make the difference between double digits and a skunking. Work one spot you know has fish trying different ways of drifting until you get a fish and build your confidence like that. Also now is getting to jig time they aren’t hitting eggs like they were a month ago, so switch that up and give it a shot as well.
