I live in Ashtabula, and fish the river of many fish. Along with others like Indian creek. Channel cats, and steelhead are my favorite fish to go for. Nice video! 🤠👍💯

Just recently made a point to get back into this. Dumb to live in northeast Ohio, love fishing and not fish for these guys. Conneaut is great. I fish the Chagrin the most because it's probably only 45 minutes away, but the Grand is my favorite when the water doesn't look like chocolate milk. Which is often, but when conditions are good it's hard to beat it. When I'm not doing it as much I use a spinning rod, but when I've done it a lot it's always a fly rod. Elk Creek in PA was always my favorite but the fish from the grand, conneaut, chagrin etc seemed to be bigger on average. I need to learn to fish the faster water. I was just a kid going a couple times a month and never learned. Appreciate the video and you guys doing.my favorite kind of fishing in one of the prettiest looking places in the state

You're right - this was shot long before we knew about the possible damage gloves can cause. As of a few years ago, you won't see any of our hosts using anything but rubber nets and bare hands.
