​@@dy031101I'm not very good at shmups, and the furthest I ever got to... Was that exact last bit. I knew it was the final phase of the final boss and I died to a nose. A freakin' NOSE. It was fun though.

I disagree. The arcade version sounds much better than this with its extra channels, but this is awesome too.

A lot of the Genesis ports sound "tighter" than they're original releases. Midnight Resistance, and Galaxy Force 2 are good examples of what I mean.
