2:42 The switches aren’t Omnipoint, they’re called Optipoint. Omnipoint switches are found only on the Apex Pro keyboards, while Optipoint ones are only on the Apex 9 and they’re optical mechanical switches unlike the Apex Pro keyboards. Btw Apex 9 comes only in a 60% form factor or a TKL, there isn’t a full sized Apex 9 keyboard (yet).

And what do the omnipoint switches do that the optipoint switches don't?

@@zeonvalo it depends on what you want, if you wanna pay more for something closer in ability to the wooting then get an omnipoint keyboard, if you want a cheaper keyboard that still has good actuation and has swappable optical keys if one breaks then get the optipoint

i would love it more if it was a 70 or 75%, but overall it was a great keyboard, i gave it to my brother since he is more able to use those types im more of a custom guy

Why do perfect 70 75 over tkl? I mean I'm not a huge gamer so I... but I could see forgoing the numpad.
@Mjoyful
@Mjoyful Жыл бұрын
@@stevesutton772 the tkl takes up more space and my room is quite small, and i also find anything other than the tradisinal keys and F now to be less important nor do i ever use them so i don't want that lugging around on my keyboard and it looks worse

Great review. I am having difficulty finding a keyboard that works for my situation. Vision issues. I need a keyboard with letters that light up but little to no brightness around the outside of the keys. I know, the opposite of what most gamers want. Would that be programmable here? Many thanks.

I have a razer blackwidow. don’t buy it. it lasted me a long time but over that time began to degrade in the switches. keys would start to actuate multiple times or just not actuate at all. and worst of all, it is not hotswappable so you cannot remove the switches to replace them and increase the longevity. keep this in mind.

@@TheEighthWorld I just ordered the Apex 9 TKL to replace my Razer BlackWidow Elite I bought in May, 2021. Can definitely confirm the switches have degraded since then, especially WASD compared to the rest of the keys. The wrist rest also has worn off where I rest my hands as well where the fake leather has stripped off. Looking forward to a new smaller board that I can replace the switches on when needed & didn't want to spend $300+ Canadian on a wooting or GMMK yet.

@@TheEighthWorld I'm still getting used to it after one day of use, but it's not bad! I def have a habit of resting my fingers on the keys and these are much more sensitive than the Razer greens lol Got their Prism pudding keycaps to replace the main letter keys so it looks real nice with the LEDs making the bottom white half glow. Definitely going to get some of the tactile switches to replace the some of the linear switches as I'm a fan of keys that are a bit more clicky/tactile. Probably blue for the function, number & arrow keys. Purple for the rest and maybe keep WASD as yellow linier.

Whould you or anyone else recomend a more quiet TKL keyboard within this price range (90 - 130) that is considered a decent TKL keyboard for gamers

I've owned this keyboard once and I found its RGB lighting underwhelming i.e. not bright enough on the max brightness setting. It just doesn't stand out in that regard when being compared to other RGB Gaming Keyboards from the same or other brands.

Who do you think has the beqst sofrware? Everyone bashes Synapse, Ique and Ghub. If Logitech would move beyond the g915 and move everhthing to Logi+ i think their future would be very bright.
