thanks :) and no, unless you hook up the headset with the usb cable so it still has power. However I do think there has to be a very minimum of power in the battery to do something and then you can keep going with the USB cable

+Wireless +Comfortable +Bluetooth +- still light, but noticeably heavier than arctis 7 +- decent mic +decent Quality -not enough bass (some people like this, but not me) -annoying ass charging sound that warns way too early and can't configure -way too expensive, not worth the extra price going from arctis 7 just because of bluetooth edit: after testing them out, they have a few more improvements compared to arctis 7 2019 edition. Tiny bit better dongle: heavier, better light, better connection Possibly better wireless, feels like I can be further away Mic feels a tiny tad better it's louder than the arctis 7 I had on it's fullest volume although I do not like the fact that they changed sides on the chatmix/volume control also tip: I had white version before, went well with my mouse and pc case, but black version's mic is less visible when out, so I would recommend that

Nice review! One question: Does the chat mix wheel have any funktion if the headset is used on playstation? Chat mix like on pc might not work on playstation but it would be nice if you could mix between the two surces usb and bluetooth instead.

the chat mix switches the balance between the bluetooth volume and regular wireless volume. So if you link USB audio and bluetooth to your playstation then you can. I don't know exactly what audio you can send over bluetooth. If you could set PS game audio to bluetooth and then chat audio on USB, then you are good to go

ngl not recommended had one but had them to return it and refund it. im sticking with my arctis 3 best sounds/bass/gaming produces. the issues was legit sound and mic . when listen to normal song its not a problem but when turning on bass boosted song then like sound hearing like somebody is touching their mic and hitting it then the sound cuts (close to what it sounds) and when im speaking with that mic with friends legit sound like im speaking from inside the box. arctis 3 didnt have that issue staying with that one

the mic issue might be related to windows settings, make sure it's set to 48000hz in windows sound control panel A normal arctis 9 definetly doesn't have a worse mic than arctis 3 Same goes for the sound. Did you have it connected wirelessly or via the cable? Because if you just used bluetooth it's obviously worse, bluetooth gets to compressed, no way to fix that really. Also you should download the steelseries engine, you can adjust the bass there and other settings

if you get the pro wireless and your tv has an optical port then you can adjust the chat mix from the base station. You can also adjust it from the headset, but it takes an extra step (click in the volume button then spin the volume wheel). It doesn't have a dedicated chat mix dial like the 9s

2 most annoying cons of this headsets. 1. Power button on headset, it not toggle switch. U can not understand if its on or off, till Audio signals transmit into headsets. Very poor design. 2. Game audio and game chat audio can not be adjusted on any PlayStation. (that feature is not supported by this headset for ps) many other cheap heads-sets supports it. As soon as I put these headsets on came across both issues. Wonder y no one talks about them. Especially when these are considered to be one of the best ps headsets (in game voice chat can not be adjusted, seriously 🧐) how is then best then?

thanks for the feedback. Sadly I didn't test it, but can't you sync the headset using bluetooth and then set the USB device as your chat device and then bluetooth as main audio? Then you could balance. If that doesn't work, then I agree it's lacking in that area as a console headset. I hope I have my PS5 in fast so I can test it on the next gen consoles.

it's not an arctis problem, the ps5 won't allow any chatmix on any 3rd party headset unless the headset has an optical port, in which case your tv must have an optical port to take advantage of it

I agree with your first issue (not second, since I don't use playstation), but if you didn't know you can see if the power is on or off by looking at the Wireless Dongle, if the headset is on then the light on the dongle is solid, while if it's off then it blinks

if the dongle is not detected (or if the bluetooth is not detected) it's a faulty unit. You can try and reset the headset, but you'll probably have to replace it under warranty

Yes you can. Log onto the engine on your computer and change the EQ to "focused". Then go to the audio settings on COD and change it to boost low.

@@GamegearTV i had the 7p and brought them back as there was no chat mix...i have been using astros for years and got used to them and the 4 selection equalizer...i have also purchased the razer blackshark v2 and brought them back as the volume was pathetic on the ps5 i tried the razer synapse and it done nothing. sony screwed everyone over removing the optical port as i really think the 3d audio is over rated and not loud enough

@@GamegearTV I’m glad you have good experiences. Mine broke after 2 weeks, got a new one after 2 months (!!!!!). Now I have the famous fade out bug where all sound just randomly fades out. Steelseries admitted that they don’t have a fix for it, and agree this is a problem. Replacing it or refunding it is impossible, never again!

Ik gok zo dat dat toch de meeste van je klanten zijn, Ik snap dat je engelstalig wilt doen gezien je dan een groter bereik hebt en dan wellicht meer kunt verkopen... Maar dan nog denk ik dat je het voornamelijk van de NL/BE markt moet hebben. Dus ik zou zeggen lekker normaal in het nederlands.. en dan met OPTIE om engelse ondertiteling eronder te zetten. WIN WIN. Door het in je eigen moedertaal te blijven doen blijf je goed te vriend bij je eigen klanten. komt toch meer vertrouwd over he ;)
