@@SneakRhead22 alright, on the PS5 settings make sure your audio is set to the headset, and your mic is set to the headset, and in the gameDac settings make sure that is set to stream and not speakers

Hi! All good? Could you help me with some information? Do models 61527 and 61528 work on PS5? Steelseries support had this to say about the differences between the models: "The difference between the two is that the Xbox version has a specific USB-C port on the back of the GameDAC for the Xbox and is only compatible with the xbox"

The Xbox ones work with PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch & PC/ Mac the PlayStation version works only with PlayStation, PC/ Mac and Nintendo Switch.. but the Xbox ones you can use on both consoles on the back of the gameDac there is a side for Xbox and usb c for PlayStation or pc

Your mic don’t work, well don’t have it setup correctly and look at the headset to see if you have it muted or volume down.

@@qualitee you welcome no problem, check the PlayStation 5 control center settings go to mic and make sure it’s switch to the headset and not the controller or tv or something

Majority of all of us are using PS5, but I would say update the headset using your computer 💻 through Steelseries GG software make sure you create a Free account so you can get the Sonar Presets available for console and then you can see all the presets they have for console I use the Footsteps one and made some slight adjustments to it using the Steelseries GG software. Then I sync to the headset / gamedac and connected back to console and sounds great too me, but you might have to listen to yours and make adjustments because everyone processes audio differently. Hope this helps.

@@KianHardwick_ yes 🙌🏽 I don’t got a PC either, My channel tutorial/ tips are base on using the MacOS side because I wanted to be different lol 😂 but yes it does work just download Steelseries GG software engine and connect your gamedac to the MacBook so you can install the new updates

Hi great tutorial I’ve got a question. Got my pair today I updated the software on it first thing and the sound was only coming out the right side is this common? I sent them back as I was really disappointed that I’d spent that much and out the box they didn’t really work. I’m a PS5 console player. Any help if possible would be appreciated thanks 🙏

No that’s not common, did you check your PS5 and make sure your audio settings was balance, and then did you check the settings on the gg software to make sure things was balanced

@@CraytonTv first couple things you said I did check the last one I didn’t as on the gg app all I was able to do was update and then use the software to create EQ and check my mic balance I didn’t see an option for left and right audio balance

@@Uptxwn-Nai umm one should be in the PlayStation audio settings, or check the gameDac settings or gg software, but the gameDac you would press and hold on the turn dial

i was told with the xbox version you cannot use two different things at the same time like me being on pc i use my series x that cannot happen lucky for me i am using a elgato hd 60 pro 4k mk2 card and elgato wave 3 too get my consoles capture i just buying this for my wireless headset i been using my air pods they hurt my ears for a while . i got the pc too ps5 version off the head set you can use two different things

Yeah who said you can’t do that, with this headset the Xbox one work on PC, Mac, PS5 and Xbox but I use mine on PS5 and stream from a Mac computer and can hear console game play and Mac background

Only thing is these sadly suck for systems when it comes to their software and no one talks about the EQ for systems only the pc version so unless ya know how to use EQ testing on your own don’t get these if you playing it on console

Truth is the Novas are wasted on ps5 as you cannot use the headphones surround sound. You use the faux ps5 3d sound as ps5 usb only does stereo. The original pro on ps4 setting with optical and hdmi splitter or tv optical out gave much much better sound and utilised headphone surround sound.
