@ yes you can do that, just need a dongle that has hdmi support on it, so it can capture the iPad and show up on the MacBook

@ do you have anything plug to your controller 3.5mm headphone jack, if you do gotta unplug it, only time you can plug something to the controller is when you using the chat link cable. or did you add a audio input capture device inside your streaming software.

If I get the Chat Link Pro for the el gato and plug my controller and headset into it, then will the audio record. I haven’t been able to capture my voice audio using the el gato and haven’t been able to find a solution besides a 2 mic set up and I want to make sure the Chat Link Pro will work in this regard.

Yes 🙌🏽 the chat link cable pro will fix that problem so you can hear your voice and audio, without it anything you plug to the controller I’ll mute your audio. If it’s plug to the 3.5mm headphone jack

@ Yeah all you need is a Chat link cable pro, and you can use a separate mic to capture your voice or you can use the headset mic 🎙️ and it will record and capture your audio and gameplay

@@Brendo38-e7g yes 🙌🏽 because when you plug your headset to the controller with out a chatlink cable it will mute your Audio unless you do all your audio over hdmi. Without a chatlink cable anything plugged to the headset will mute your audio

Good review! Can you use this with an iPhone that has an OtterBox case? Also, can I continue playing any of my PlayStation or Xbox games, picking up where I left off on my memory

@@OgDj2024 with a Otterbox case might be a little big but it maybe can work on the Gen 2 version, but that’s a maybe, and yes you are able to continue where you left on your PlayStation or Xbox games using PS Remote Play, Xbox Remote Play or Xbox Cloud Gaming just gotta sign into your account and make sure your consoles are always left in rest mode & connected to the internet. So that you can access them on the go. Also you might want to try the Gen 2 version that is compatible for your phone rather it’s lighting port or usb c or you can try the Scuf nomad controller also I did a review on that too on my channel.

Yeah the backbone is a great controller I still have gen 1 and I do use all the time also even when I travel just to play some small games

@@CraytonTv I am confident I have done all required things. Firmware appears to be up to date considering is does not show banner when plugged into PC. So straight out the the box it seems up to date. I followed your video along with any other video I could find and the Playstation settings are set correctly. Please find the time to assist me.

@@CraytonTv just two consoles and a gaming monitor. Just trying to hear the game to enjoy some gaming. No streaming of any sort. It works perfectly find for my xbox but not the ps5 slim digital. I wonder if the audio is fried. When I first got the ps5 I had it standing up and it had two overheating issues and powered down on me. I now lay it side ways and it doesn't happen anymore. Using this headset is my very first attempt at hearing sound from the ps5. My monitor does not have internal speakers.

@@CraytonTv I've just got a standard Turtle Beach one but want to get a wireless one. When i connect it using the computer, i can hear my voice because i am also using a separate mic to capture the sound. I'm not too fussed about party chat. I just like to have a chit chat with the viewers.

@ no you not suppose to hear your own voice, in the headset. In your streaming software you are using, need to go over to the mixer settings making sure your one of your audio is set to monitor and out or monitor only

@@CraytonTv All the audio is coming through and the audio is being picked up in OBS. The Steel Series Microphone is not being picked up on my Playstation 5 though, so no one can hear me in game chat or party chat. I have the GameDac set to Stream as well.

@@xmonstarz513 oh on the iPad, well you need a dongle, the one I am using is a 6-in-1 USB C Hub dongle for the iPad, - also have a video tutorial in the works on how to use it fully on the iPad, coming out this week. Still working on it but will be out by Sunday.

Yo, i need help! I first started using my controller when i played Fortnite for 4 years ago. Now i want to use it on the new BO6, but i cant find the software anywhere on my pc, and not on the internett to. Is it Logitech G Hub now, that provied the sowtware for the controller? If thats the case, G Hub wont fint my C40 controller for some reason. Hope you could help me out on this one bro :)

@@mozzy6944 that Astro C40 could be out there still not to sure if Astro still signs it, but did you check Astro Website under the controller section, and try that, cause I still have the software but it’s on Mac, so I wouldn’t know about PC, but if you got PS5 Dualsense Edge, then you can download the PlayStation Accessories App and be able to use that controller

I've had the controller since it hit the public, been a beauty ever since never had stick drift *knock on fuckin wood LMAO* and always provided better audio than ANY other controller on the market when matched with an Astro headset, the definition of the audio is on a whole other planet

But here is a list of controllers - PS5 Dualsense Edge Pro Controller, Scuf Controller, Hexgaming/ Extremerate where you build it yourself if you got the patience to do it, or you can buy one of they ready made controllers But just all depends on your preference and what you like to use Xbox or PlayStation

@@Roland_13 Oh and if you got it setup, to stream you need the chat link cable unless it’s connected to the computer and you do the HDMI method. Cause nothing is suppose to be connected to the controller unless you want to mute your audio.

@@عمرالدبعي-ر9ه change your recording bitrate too a higher number such as 20,000 or higher and that should fix the problem. You do that in your streaming software you are using

The transparent doesn't look good for the bottom with all those holes/gaps showing through IMO. They opaque gray looks much better. Myself, I'm getter the black.
