My headset should arrive tomorrow. Now seeing the earpads they look to be of lower quality than the leatherette ones I ordered from Steelseries for my Arctis 7x. I may end up seeing if those fit

True. Though I must say that I actually prefer the speakers of the arctis prime headset than the arctis 7p/x headset.

@@lance_cpa1175 of course since they are high-resolution drivers with a much larger frequency range. That's why the Arctis Pro and Pro Wireless sound so much better than the other Arctis headsets. The fact that you can now get those drivers on a $100 headset makes the Prime probably the best in it's price range

7.1 really isn’t that good in a headset I used to think it was but a stereo headset is much much more reliable you will be very happy if you get this

It's designed for competitive, so stereo is best - 3.5mm allows usability across many devices especially with 32 ohm and works great with high end motherboards, soundcards, external soundcards, and audio interfaces. However a better alternative is the beyerdynamic MMX300 (2nd Generation) but it'll come at an extra $150 over the price of the arctis pro.. depends on your budget

The original steelseries prime was given to a lot of people to test, but some of them chose to sell it on eBay and random website, however that was just the standard one. The wireless and prime+ released on the 25th. The mouse is fantastic, been using the wireless one for 2-3 days now
