Steelshod 70: Enter the Cassalines

as a hardcore classicist and fluent-in-writing Latin student, I noticed some mistakes on the writer’s part on the specifics of Roman cultural norms and military structure, but he got the broad strokes very well and the mistakes just make Cassala more original, so I ain’t complaining. (for instance Roman 3-part names were structured given name, clan name, sub-clan family name, and it was the GIVEN name that was considered unimportant and so only used with friends or on official records-in fact most patrician women weren’t even given proper first names at all, just being numbered if they needed to distinguish between siblings. And the system did fall out of fashion, but mostly because the pool of allowed traditional names was very small so by the mid-late empire too many people had the exact same names to keep track of properly.)

A third front! I love the way that the world around Steelshod still moves on with world events regardless of their decisions to join or not. It makes this world much more believable

Ight so like I for get what days it drops but I'm always stoked to the max cause like I been here since the first of steelshod and I have to say I'm really licking the cliff hangers we are on with some of our people and the transitioning I mean I give it so many stars the rating machine broke … but that is not the point the point is its usually when in busy and I have to grind to a holt what I'm doing cause i just have to know... well long story short I have not gone to bed yet ona count of binge watching the mando and then I see this and I'm like I don't need sleep i need to know what these people are up to
