hmm... keep the bidding war going until your own plans come to fruition that you can off the other party yourself. Drama loses their bargaining chip and the need for the contract. only problem is they will likely see this coming and choose a side.

It is silly to assume this state of affairs was not what was intended by the theater to begin with. It is a choice. Destroy yourself to rid yourself of your enemy for good or find another way. Either way the Theater wins. They will either have an immense amount of gold or they will have kept the status quo from self-destructing to the point there will be no need for such discreet people of the arts.

Is it just me or does Pontius seem to be a downgraded version of Yorrin?
@rodrikforrester69893 жыл бұрын
Not downgraded, but I can definitely see the parallel... if he's _actually_ a charlatan. I can see Zeno's prejudices getting in his way when it comes to accepting that magic is really a thing.

Why do I get the feeling he will get his money from Steelshod in the end?
@matrimalviarin50433 жыл бұрын
I get the feeling Steelshod is going to kill Drama, maybe Yorrin, and thus hrand them with a "Don't screw with us" sign

@@matrimalviarin5043 I think they're more likely to offer Drama a service of some kind. Perhaps Drama wants to decide the next Emperor?
@jacobfreeman54443 жыл бұрын
In a way Drama is. I suspect the price quoted for either was calculated to completely ruin the one who accepts. Either you are willing to accept a phyrric victory from the Theater or you find a better way.

@@jacobfreeman5444 Sounds about right, I'll bet on your interpretation for now :D
