Recorded in 1972 during the gap between Can't Buy a Thrill and Countdown to Ecstasy. On the back of the album Katie Lied is a photo of Donald Fagen and Danny Dias taken during that recording session. The ad never aired and was thought to be lost.

Some Googling reveals this is apparently real, and is from the archives of Roger Nichols, an engineer who worked with the band. It was recorded between their first and second albums, was written by the band, and the Spanish is spoken by Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, apparently using helium. The band must have REALLY needed the money, or owed someone a favor...

For those who don't know - Schlitz was actually a huge beer brand in the US, until they tried to cheapen the brewing process in the 1970s. this resulted in some beer having large white flakes floating in it, or a gelatinous goo floating on the top. The company denied that anything was wrong with the product and customers left, never to return. It is a textbook case of how to kill a company.
