I rode caribou ridge for the first time back in 1996 on a hardtail with 2” of front suspension and cantilever brakes! Found it by accident while boondock camping with friends up there.

You're in heaven IMHO. I spent nearly a month there in Sept 2020. Rode my bike everyday. Loved it so much I started looking for a vacation home there...only I ended up buying in So Colorado near Durango and Telluride. Season passes at both DH parks there, but that area up there is special. You're lucky. Have you ridden much DH up there?

@@pvclassic Yeah we love living here. Only moved back a year ago after being away for 13 years but we lived in Truckee (Lake Tahoe) so we definitely were spoiled there as well! I haven't even ridden silver mountain yet, but I know it's epic. It was pretty lame back when we left Idaho but now it's a destination riding spot. Really the only DH I ride is at Beacon, and I do it on a 120mm trailbike!
