This was originally skied by JD Hare in the 2000s and repeated not long after by Trevor Hunt. It's a dramatic line seen from the air and has always jumped out at me but it's bigger and more obvious neighbour, the Owl's Couloir gets way more attention.
We skinned in from the Wedgemount Road and booted up the line. After topping out the initial couloir, we continued up the ridge to get to a sub-peak. Heading back down, we should have entered the face a bit earlier but instead skied through some rocks partway. Back into the couloir, we were able to dial back the stress levels and enjoy some typical steep skiing.
Not the biggest or steepest line I've skied but certainly extremely exposed with a massive cliff below for the upper half. I'd love to go back with better conditions!
