Most licences are recognised by Malaysia, thus no International License required. The vehicle will have had the Registration license and Insurance First Party cover. Than means, in an accident, the Insurance cover for both your repairs & injuries, and the other sides repairs & injuries. But the injuries get paid way later after court hearing. The repairs will get done in a month if all documentation is there.

Just drop by the govt Klinik Kesihatan Langkawi, the public clinic for a tetanus shot. Malaysians get free treatment (RM1). For foreigner there is a minimum charge. Take daughter directly to the government or private clinic. Cjarges are minimal. Our medical services are one of the best.

I guess some stations is closed for maintanence or for the lack of workers which of course would jeoperdise the visitors safety. I still remember when Langkawi was jammed packed with both domestic tourist and international ones.. All of their attractions were readily available. Then the blasted Covid happened. Almost 2 and a half years of restriction causes a lot of shops/hotels to either closed down temporarily or permanently. When the tourist industry opened again, Most of these premises need to be cleaned and repaired as most of them almost looked like creepy abandoned compounds. I guess its true that no matter how modern, sturdy and new all buildings and things are. The moment you basically abandoned it even for few months. It will starts to rot or rust. Not to mention, the mass layoff of workers also makes things worse. Oh well, all things in Langkawi will return to normal again once all the maintanence works settle.
