STEEPEST Run at STOWE MOUNTAIN!

The best part of this section of lift line is all the shittalk you get from the locals who have been skiing that line for years. As a native PA skier who finally realized what "good" east coast skiing was last year, I can relate. Love that you include the struggle on these, always a fun watch

That upper section of liftline is steeper than the top of starr and the middle of goat ?

@@icecoaster okay. That's what I figured. That upper section of liftline is definitely hard. The middle and bottom portions of liftline used to be harder as well, but Stowe widened those sections out.

was wondering about that. I skied Starr back in the day, and that first ~100 yards(?) was nearly vertical. but after that initial pitch, it was a crazy long and fun mogul run.

Liftline is insane! When the snow is high, you literally have to not get kicked in the head with skis by people on the lift!

I ski at Montana Snowbowl, and literally all of our runs are about that steep 😂. But it’s not the steepness I’m afraid of, it’s the ice. The bowl area of my ski resort is awesome! But it’s also extremely steep.

Goat and Liftline at Stowe are legit double blacks that can rival some double blacks out west. Some other legit double blacks in the east coast are DJs Tramline at Cannon, The Face Chutes at Jay Peak, The Slides at Whiteface, The Snowfields at Sugar Loaf, The Blackhole and Liftline at Smuggs, Liftline and Rumble at Sugarbush, and all of the shit at Mad River Glen. (Seriously that mountain is difficult to ski)

Not just steep, but badly groomed, icy, and full of moguls. Takes all the fun out of it for me. One doesn't have to do everything in this world.
