When watching the video, I noticed it's a little bit to fast. You can watch it in 0.75x speed if it's too fast for you...

Love this concept, definitely going to give it a try. It kind of reminds me of this old astroids cabinet we used to have. The "left" button was broken, so you could only turn "right."

I love seeing one motor things that have two or more functions this is a really great example of that. I couldn't do something like this but I enjoy watching your videos.

I love this! Using only one motor and the worm gear to switch between each mechanism! Amazing!

Not only does this concept intrigued me, but now i am thinking about integrating it in some FLL designs. Thank you for this video, and i wish you good luck

@@in1 already did a prototype with some pneumatics for a straight walking (no turning) attachment on the main robot, for when I don't have space to turn but i need the robot slightly to the side. Still needs a lot of work. 👍👍👍

And yet again a very funny concept. You were talking in the vid that cable’s are annoying well, the four ‘legs’ of your machine reminded me some scratching fingers on a schoolboard 😂 thanks again for sharing this beautiful video with me 👍👍❤️

'My achy Heart' by Audio Hertz I can't provide a link, because it's from the YT audio library. Technically, I don't even need to mention it in the description, but thanks for reminding, I'll do that.

I did something like this once! You might want to add some ratchets, it really helps with the loose mechanism situation, for example the turntable turns ever so slightly when not engaged. But otherwise, that design is brilliant! Makes me want to take up lego technics again :D

Very nice. Can I ask you how long time you designed this vehicle?
@in12 жыл бұрын
Around 3 hrs, the structure of the walker was already designed 4 videos ago... If you also count that, it would probably be around 6 hours.

All the while I'm trying to figure out how to patch out the fact you have to lift the legs to be able to turn, and in the end it just goes and solves itself
@in12 жыл бұрын
:) Yep, that's one of the rare uses of the fact that the not driven worm gear mechanism can move freely
