May I ask what is the p setting number so I can check set my speed because, my new joyor s5 dose not go advertised speed of 31 mp only 27 mp on a good flat surface at best .

31 is with someone that weighs under 125lbs, maybe even 115. My S10 doesnt reach 37mph, but, if I suspend the scooter in the air (no resistance to the tires), it goes upward of 50mph. Hope this helps!!

Since the steering rod of the scooter is nearly 90° vertical to the ground (the front fork of the motorcycle/electric bicycle will have a certain angle with the ground), when the speed of the scooter exceeds 30 mph, the steering system will become extremely Unstable, if you don't have enough arm strength to hold the steering wheel, it is very easy for the steering wheel to swing quickly from side to side, which is called "death wobble" in the racing industry. The JOYOR S5 is fine, but the S10s is already over 30mph and has a motor on the front wheel. Therefore, installing a steering damper can properly improve safety. Other than that, all models of the S series. After installing the steering damper, the steering system becomes very stable, especially in bumpy road sections. When riding at a slow speed, you only need to hold the handlebar with one hand to ride. Skilled people can ride without holding the handlebars.

Hold on I just have one question we need that piece that is right below the headlight so the connector on the side connects with the steering the scooter does not come with that either. The steering damper itself doesn’t come with that adapter, so how are we are post to make it work

I believe they are talking about the “zero start” feature.?. If so, go to the “P” settings & change “P-16” to “0”, instead of “1”…

I wonder if you can make a video for the S 10 S because when I’m off of the scooter and I have it on mode three and the scooter is lifted up off the ground and I put the throttle all the way down. It does 53, but when I have it on mode three and I put it back on the ground and I go down the street. It only does 37. I am wondering if somehow the scooter knows that it has weight on it and it’s limiting itself. It doesn’t limit itself when it’s lifted up and I full throttle it that’s a little weird to me. I wonder if you know why it does that and how can I take it off so it does 53 when I get on it? It was just a thing I found out about it.

Yes, because the motor can reach very fast speeds without load. Likewise, if you weigh less and ride with less wind resistance, you will ride faster. After all, the motor itself is very small. The power output is limited.

I do know about the two blue wires they’re not connected, but anything else that I can make it faster with or I can buy a piece for it to make it faster or that’s just all it has.??

bro. have you tried keeping the "+" button pressed to activate the second motor (aka "D-drive" on the screen)? the reason I am asking is because I own an s5 and I can easily reach 40km/h on level ground (i weigh 85kg, if you include clothes, helmet and my always full backpack I easily weigh 100kg when riding the scooter) and the S5 has only one motor... I know for a fact from a friend who has the s10s and weighs the same, that he can easily reack 60km/h.

The display cannot be replaced individually. It must be replaced together with the controller. Otherwise all functions cannot be used.

This should consider whether the speed of your scooter is very fast, so fast that it is difficult to control the steering wheel? This mounting bracket for the steering damper doesn't quite fit the Y6S.
