Need to replace the CIM would you know if i have to recalibrate the angle sensors afterwards and if I need a software for it or it can be done manually?

I've never done it but I see that OPCOM does have some option for steering angle sensor calibration

hi with a friend we have a private joke and we want to replace the strearing wheel with a pan because it is a pan and nor a stearing wheel we gonna need to unplug the airbag that would light up a airbag defect light if we plug the airbag after did the light disaper or we need to erase it ?

Do you perhaps know how to replace the volume roller knob on the steering wheel … mines kinda worn out so I wanted to exchange it with the scrolling knob ( change left to right )

Hi, got a bit of a random question. I happened to break the wiper stalk on my Corsa D recently, effectively snapped it off by accident. Can still use the wipers if I insert a screwdriver or object in to operate etc. Would you know if it would be easy to fix? And how I would roughly go about it? I’ve been quoted £110 from a local garage to replace it, but seems a bit extortionate. Looked online and found the part second hand for quite cheap, so not sure whether I should have a go at it myself and save the money, unless it’s actually quite a complicated process?

Good video mate, u make it look easy lol, better than paying someone £60. Do you know what colour wires control the steering wheel controls for volume etc? I’m trying to connect it to my aftermarket head unit that has SW1 and SW2 wires Thanks

I remember like 12 years back I had a Honda CR-V 2006 and the shop said the same thing to me, even so the aftermarket head unit has got sw1 and sw2 it needs a interface, which cost like £130 at that time, I managed to cut the wires and it worked, I then sold it and bought a Nissan note and used the same head unit and that also worked fine

Haha years ago my mate was trying to removing the rather large thin rimmed steering wheel on a 1977 mini. He tried hammering it at the back and then tried pulling on it like crazy with no luck. I said move out the way let me try, Jesus Christ!! it came off busting my nose, am sure I was concussed. All my mate could do was laugh 🤣 happy days.
