I knew Matt and he was a very nice and humble guy. I skated LOVE with him a few times but mostly knew him because he dated my friend. They used to go to see our band when we played out. Philly was such a little scene back then. He was very cool and very nice. Rest in Peace

I've always felt so sad with the health problems he had that stopped his skating. Along with putting him to rest at such a young age. He was so kind hearted and kill'n Philly streets! And the "you don't push mongo" TRUTH!! That is why I push switch! Like I did today! Stoked to be a half century old and skate'n better than ever! Keep push'n for those you miss!

The blue ramps from the SubZero contest in Woodbury, NJ are forever imprinted in my psyche. Classic 90's shop contest, we didn't have a broken down car but there was a busted up toilet someone threw in there.

I remember skating Love around 1993, and a girl walked up to me and asked if I had seen Matt. We have lost a lot of soldiers since then.

Why Piers so compassionate for her with her still sustaining her innocence and lying about her part? Her major, integral part.

Just finding out now that Matt Reason had Lyme disease and passed away. Fuckin’ gay. I’m sad to hear this:(. I loved his steez. Tragic.
