i feel like the one thing that everyone doesn't realise about jamie's death that sully killed him in a way where stefan couldn't say a final goodbye. sully could finish him off with an injury that would cause blood loss where the brothers could cradle jamie in their arms and speak to him for the last time. but sully is ruthless and would saw it as being too nice.
