She was the 3rd main character who had something to lose and the motivation to leave the streets behind. Sully needed to die and Dushane needed to get locked up or die. The whole point of this season was to show their downfall and what that life leads to. Who else would you rather have killed Sully? Kieron? Si? Those are less important characters who weren’t as close with Sully and wouldn’t have been as big of a shock if they killed him.
