Really like what we’ve seen of this kid. A couple of years of toughening up his physical side will be the making of him, and of LFC’s midfield for the future. He passes well, isn’t afraid to get stuck in, has an eye for an opening to attack or to cut out the opponent when defending, and always seems to have time on the ball.

Remember how good Curtis Jones was when he was a teenager. A few first team mistakes and he went into his shell and is only just now starting to show again.

Dunno about you all, but with all the talk of the Reds needing still another midfielder in addition to MacAlister and Szoblszlai, I feel we're missing something here. This chap is ready (excuse the unintended pun ) made for Liverpool's midfield. He is young, but seems very able to hold his own in PM company. With the two prior-mentioned players, along with Trent ( and pos Thiago too ), they have enough players there. He is combative too which is what has been missing of late. Addeded to that, he is good in defence, so he could be used there if needed - and he probably will be as the Reds have been struggling in that dept too. Along with Curtis Jones, I see him being more of a homegrown regular this season.
