It’s at the point where they’re weeding out who’s to blame. The structure is in place, the finances are being sorted out, we’re no longer mugs in the transfer window. That’s great. That’s not saying all of our transfers will be a success, but we aren’t paying over the odds and panic buying anymore. If United aren’t challenging for top 4 by Xmas, I think ETH will be gone and Ruud will take the reins. If I had to predict it, I think INEOS will bring success back to United, but I don’t think ETH will be the manager when that happens.

He's made too many mistakes which have cost United millions - Onana over De Gea, Antony, Mount, freezing out Ronaldo, casting off Sancho, etc... bold calls that needed to pay off & so far there's no evidence to suggest they will. Which manager has actually done well since Ferguson? 1st in 2013 (last Ferguson season), 7th in 2014, 4th in 2015, 5th in 2016, 6th in 2017, 2nd in 2018 (Mourinho), 6th in 2019, 3rd in 2020 (33pts behind 1st), 2nd in 2021 (Rangnick), 6th in 2022, 3rd in 2023. Ten Hag has the highest win ratio since Mourinho from 2016-2018 and before that the highest win ratio was Ferguson himself...whilst it obviously doesn't look good for united right now, especially with the bad finish to last season, I think you do need to look at the numbers.
