The creators of this show wanted it to be so epic and edgy that they ended up in chaos. It would have been nice if they stuck to the source material as “The Vampire Diaries” and basically had this one as an original show since it was so far away from the actual books. I really liked Caroline with Klaus and Elena with Damon. For me personally Bonnie would've made a nice, stable couple with Stefan.
