i also thought of steroline as friends, like caroline replaced lexi and stefan and lexi definitely never had anything romantic. i always wanted stefan to be with someone like rebekah or katherine, someone with a good heart but bad actions who he could help be a better version of themselves (like damon and elena)... but i'm coming to realize now, because i've been rewatching vampire diaries over again, that stefan already did help caroline be a better person, and they became best friends because he was with elena, but just because they are best friends doesnt mean they cant have something more! and she makes him laugh, which he doesnt do enough of. so basically what i'm saying is i've changed my opinion on them and even tho i loooove steferine still, steroline is pretty epic too:) amazing video! i loved it
