I used to love watching "Hart to Hart* when it was on . I watched the film *HARDCASE* recently and I seen many interviews of *Clint Walker* describing how good/great actor's make the picture happen & be long lasting in film history , Clint liked for the cast he was in a picture with to have their heart in the film / product they were making together and in his interviews he never discredited his fellow actors histories or the worthiness of their talents they put forth either - he was a good man / great actor --- too bad *Stefanie Powers* said what she said of him here -- like my Father used to tell me as a kid "Never speak ill of the dead." *Clint Walker The Friendly Giant Cowboy" RIP

Okay, I saw McClintock when I was around 5 or 6. I've aged LOT since then and she still looks great. Not fair. Some folks here say that she came across as "sarcastic, vain and a Hollywood snob". I thought that she came across as a bit sardonic but mostly just a dry wit. I really enjoyed this interview.
@debco124 жыл бұрын
Clint Walker did take his work seriously but she's wrong about him needing a sense of humor. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, especially around people he felt comfortable with. He once told me he didn't enjoy filming Hard Case. I didn't press him as to why but after seeing this...hmmm.

Disappointing to hear her throw shade on the great Clint Walker saying he took himself too seriously when in reality, he took his JOB very seriously. While Stephanie was out with her friends riding ponies in a grassy field, Clint Walker, at that age, was already working in a foundry full time, to help his mom feed the family. His childhood was not a carefree time like Stephanie’s was. Perhaps she would understand him better if she walked for a bit in his boots.

It is a beautiful Sunday morning, I have a cup of coffee and it's time to take in another Rob Word video. Stephanie Powers, what a great actress, and she looks just perfect. What a great story about Joan Hackett, another favorite. I have to agree with Stephanies ".....never rides again", the storyline was pushed a bit too far with this one. I' get to watch the original later today. Thanks, Rob, this is one of the best interviews.

Can you please! Please! Post longer interviews. We like to hear more in depth interviews with these great stars!
@AWordonWesterns5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, delon. This is actually one of the longest interview segments we've ever posted. These take me about 20 hours a week and it's a hobby. If we posted longer episodes, we would only be able to produce about 10-12 episodes a year instead of 52. Viewership for our series of tributes to westerns is growing because of the regular, weekly episodes, and most people like being able to see new episodes every week. Please use the convenient Playlist selection on our channel to run the interviews and common themes episodes back-to-back. There are nearly 300 episodes already available for viewing. Thanks for watching these tributes to our western filmmakers and performers.

A Word on Westerns I am not sure why you can’t hire someone to help with running your Chanel but in any case, I love what you do so please don’t stop! I think you may like to know my love for everything western comes from watching these great movies, like True Grit, the Undefeated, the Comncheroes, the Scallop Hunters , the Professionals, and hundreds more comes from watching these movies growing up in Afghanistan in the 70’s! My dad worked for PanAm and every Tuesday nights these great movies were shown in the original English, so I would go see them with my dad and then on Friday nights ,our Saturday night, I would see the same movie in the Farsi dub version with my brothers and sisters!! Double the fun! To this day I love these amazing movies and therefore love your station! 🙏🙏🙏

@robertandhollyscorpiofan26972 жыл бұрын
It’s been three years since you commented….are you still a nitwit? Truths you don’t like don’t make her sarcastic. They make you willfully ignorant. She had no children because: 1) her first marriage to Gary Lockwood was not happy; 2) bill holden was her “soulmate” and she very much wanted children with him, but he had botched male surgery; 3) she and bill were estranged for most of the time they were together, and she had just turned 39 when he died, rather late for a woman to try to become pregnant.
