For sure, it’s one of the most famous Italian songs worldwide and was composed in 1958 by Migliacci-Modugno, though the complete title is ‘Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)’ and probably quite few know it nowadays. It was sung by Domenico Modugno, a great singer and composer and it represents a milestone in Italian music and costume. ‘Volare’ in English means ‘flying’ and many artists covered the song since then 🎈
