I like Tzi’s game and swings and there is little to hate in them, TBH. They resemble my game and swinging mechanics to a great extent though I model Fed more precisely and meticulosuly on the court since Fed presents the undeniable MODEL NORM OF PERFECTION. What’s the rationale for my choice then? Quite right. I don’t let the obsession for (immediate/fast/direct) results cloud my judgment nor affect my game and techniques I prefer. It’s all about style, feel and perfection in my diligent and painstaking approach which itself approaches art and meditation. The winning aspect comes far behind as a secondary if not tertiary consideration. It is a long but rewarding path to the temple of holistic wisdom and #perpetual perfection. Come and join me on this Path.

Okay, what then is non-Fedistic in Tzi's techniques? First, his serve lacks the flawless form, balance, ease and fluidity Federer's serve is so well known about (though it is a still evolving technique in Stefanos' game (if not also in Roger's!). Secondly, Tsitsipas' forehand seems to employ a somewhat broken wrist in the take back and thus actually a disguised full semi-western grip (which you can also see in the vertical position of the racket head in the end of the follow-through). The Greek also rotates a notch less from his shoulders during the set up, at least his non-dominant arm/hand lets go off the racket some degrees earlier (and in certain shots more eagerly) than in the model case of the King Goat. Another discrepancy is due to the emblematic trait of Tzi not achieving the horizontal racket head position in the forehand slot ("tap the dog" position), not characteristically as Roger does. He often flips the racket on its edge, racket face vertical in the slot. All in all, the motion doesn't share the graceful character of Roger's forehand, either. Finally, Tzi's backhand, on its part, has a more straightforward take-back path "to the position" (slot position in the end, if you will) and lacks the detailed finesse of Roger's one-handed backhand set-up in which the cocked and ulnar deviated but ultimately loose wrist stores the final whipping energy of the release. Tzi also keeps the racket further away from his body during the take-back and thus the point of release ("slot position") is respectively further out and away from the hip compared to Roger's immaculate case -- Here to help! Join me on the Path to Perfection in tennis.

Tony Ngo Well, as said Tsitsipas modelled his game after Fed but it doesn’t have the elegance nor technical resemblance with it - as does Dimitrov’s by the way. And I am no recreational player but a serious contender. And my style comes closer to Fed than does Stefanos. Simple. I said style, not ability.

But as I said I prefer the road less traveled, a longer, more nuanced, interesting,, demanding rewarding, complete road to perfect tennis.

@@michaellarsonlee Bizarre as it may sound sound it should also sound as bizarre as that may sound lol. What I am putting forward here is a general philosophy/approach to your tennis. --- Funny coincidence , guys, I was hitting ball with my friend the other day (last Saturday) and a guy coaching his kids on the next court watched my strokes for awhile and they came as advertised, I tell you! Well, then I hit an inside out forehand shouting out just before 'HERE IT COMES, A PERFECT FED-INSIDE OUT FOREHAND, NOT GONNA GET IT!' - and wooosh I ripped it on the T crossing of the baseline and sideline my friend/practice partner collecting his gear after trying to reach it with no avail LOL. And the dude on the next court, the coach training his two sons said to me 'MAN, IT REALLY LOOKED VERY MUCH ROGER'S INSIDE OUT FOREHAND, NO KIDDING!' I laughed and said 'YEAH, MAN. NO KIDDING INDEED, AIN'T IT SWEET. A BEAUTIFUL EXPLOSIVE, EFFORTLESS SWING WITH LASER ACCURACY!' And the dude 'YEAH, AMAZING TECHNIQUE YOU HAVE. AND I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT BEEN THERE. SEEN THAT. BEEN PLAYING WITH ALL THE STARS. FROM AGASSI TO GREAT ROGER HIMSELF.' I was 'COOL, MAN. BUT YEAH NICE TO HERE THAT PRAISE FROM YOU. I AM ON MY PATH LOL. THANKS!'

There is one physical component that win enable Stefanos to make his soon-eventual assault on the Big 3 within the next 12 months as his body matures: broad shoulders
