I was just noticing that Steffi sliced almost every backhand in this match. Love Steffi but at least Barbara was trying to his a topspin 2 hander.

That slice backhand was arguably Graf's biggest weapon. It put her opponents off balance and set up her forehand.

@ustulo3488 Ive played for over twenty years. I just don't understand your comment. Sounds to me like it was a criticism of Graf and it just doesnt make sense to me, especially because she won this match handily and 22 majors very rarely if ever hitting a topspin backhand.
