I think 2024 has really been a great year for indie brands. All the palettes I purchased this year has been indie but i only purchased 2 of ND palettes the Golden and Roxa. At the minute the indie brands are killing it 😊

It’s not fair that you are so beautiful! 😂❤ The bob looks nice on you. Indies have such fun and interesting color stories, but the mattes are not always my favorite formula. I think some higher end brands might have mattes that I prefer. I have your palette and it reminds me of summertime and the beach! Also have some of the other palettes that you featured. I’ve been using the Polar Express palette from Nomad. I bought the Ireland palette also but haven’t used it yet.

Gonna be honest, I feel a lot of KZbinrs have been heavily influenced by the purpose behind the Longing palette and aren’t focusing on its usability and versatility. It’s a pretty palette and the formula is great, but it’s EXTREMELY repetitive. 2 out of only 6 shimmers are virtually identical. There are 6 different shades of off-black that look the exact same on me, the olive shades clash with the purples (granted, I’m very cool toned) and for a palette that large, I shouldn’t still need to be reaching into another palette for an inner corner highlight!! I was really excited for that palette when I ordered it and was honestly super disappointed. I still use it and I really like a few of the shades, but it’s not worth the hype that *everyone* is giving it.

I love Arttitude but the shimmers DISAPPEAR!!!! I'm going back to my urban decay primer and nyx with it, others I use make them just too oily and disappear! One other brand does this too... Glaminatrix.... heart breaking as I'm in Oz and want to support them!
