How you were talking about the unearthly Just A Taste palette is how I feel about the Cosmic Beauty Muse palette! It's my favorite for that reason, and the amazing quality of course. I have yet to see another palette that inspires me so much, I can see endless looks from it! Also a subscription box yeah to nay quickly was this month I got my first Ensley Reign palette from eyescream beauty box. My adult autistic child is bi-gendered and my second oldest adult son is gay. He loves to take my highlighters. I haven't even swatched the Bunny 🐇 palette. I will be trading it. I was so excited until I looked up a tutorial and saw many of my favorite most respected people talking about this. I have to draw a line somewhere. There's many other brands to try! I have the BBB Angles of Illumination palette and I’m so surprised when I see it come in lower on people’s rankings. I LOVE that palette. It is so useful to use with all of the mattes in my collection. I don’t feel like I even need any other indi palette because that has every special shimmer I could possibly want, except for a red though. I see palette with beautiful blue shimmers, or blue/brown shimmers, or orange, pinks etc. then I remember I have those shades in that Illumination palette. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I left it out on my desk to get use out of this January because the shimmers are SO good & pair beautifully with some of my ND palettes, etc. Especially when I want something a little extra shimmery! ♥️♥️

Poison garden deserves the crown! That one is my darkhorse as it's different from everything else I own. Best collab palettes lethal and avatar the last Airbender. I got all 4 and have no regrets. Best cool toned - unearthly dreamer. Best warm toned is unearthly high temps and best neutral its a tie between nudetrals and barely basic by glaminatrix. Best spring palette is spring magic by unearthly again. Undergrowth is the best green one and the best basics are the triochrome and the biba which I got early this year. The Pokemon palette is the one I shouldn't have bought that one was my disappointment so I think that means I did well with what I purchased this year.

I tried the rosewood mini palette from ND.. I am kinda dumbfounded that I am not so impressed. I got it in an ipsy but still. I will keep trying to get impressed. Gorgeous swatched and such but not different than other shadows of that color. I found it actually more difficult to not make a muddy mess. Perhaps it's cuz I am poor that I am having trouble with quality 😊. Lol😅

You're definitely not the only one with issues with the Oden's Eye palettes... The last good one I had was the original Hela palette. After that I bought a few and they all had issues. Even if it didn't hard pan I had a bunch of patchy application with the dark shades and they were so hard to use. I've sworn off of Oden's Eye and I feel suspicious of channels that give them good reviews now. Did you buy the OE palletes yourself? There was a conspiracy theory floating around that they send higher quality palettes as PR, but if that isn't true then maybe influencers are afraid to give honest reviews which is why I'm paying attention to the Oden's Eye reviews to know if I can trust a review.

Ensley reign really messed up, and they haven't addressed it properly in my opinion. I used your code and bought a bunch of palettes I just recently got the in my eyes palette and was so excited for the new launch, but my daughter is part of the LGBTQ community and I just can't not support hate towards that or anyone for that matter. I mean using your brand page is really stupid IMO. Bella bueate bar is going to see my money in instead. Cosmic brushes really kills it with their palettes I just ordered the rest of the palettes I didn't own😂😂 they really are affordable for the quality as well. Thanks for addressing ER. I am always baffled that some people seem to think we have a responsibility to give our money and time to brands who do shizzy things - um, no. I can spend my money however I like, just as others can. IMO, "cancelling" (which never really happens anyway) is when you encourage people to go attack someone/a brand (which - uncool), not when you exercise a perfectly rational choice to support those whose values align with yours. Maybe ER will gain some support from others who agree with them now! But no more from me unless they have a believable turnaround. (And I've bought almost every palette they sell.)

I think only Makeupcrazy spoke up against this after Oct 7 and the IG posts I saw where incredibly problematic back then. Many brands that have been either discriminatory to a customer with a disability or problematic when it comes to racial stereotypes also received a pass from influencers. I am not saying creators should purchase from ER as that is their choice but it is incredibly telling when they cancel them for “not being in their values” with the implication that these other forms of discrimination is not seen as harsh. It actually has made me want to unsubscribe to a lot of influencers who show the double standard and just judge purchases for myself.

I will be honest I really don't stay very up to date on all things beauty news. I think I quickly came across the ER stuff because I was such a fan of the brand, follow their page, etc. I will be honest I have not personally seen, or read anything about Huda Beauty/October 7th, but will now be digging into this. I agree with you, I think that everyone should judge purchases for themselves, and I will be the first to admit that I am not perfect, nor do I follow enough to keep up with every bad thing a brand has said or done. I genuinely appreciate you sharing your opinion and feedback, and you are so right, calling out a brand for one thing, but ignoring another brand doing something else really crappy can/does send a message that one form a discrimination is "worse" than the other. Unfortunately the Huda situation was swept under the rug by the beauty community as most are focused on the concerns for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza but Huda shared in her IG stories open support /justification and mockery for what occurred with the civilian Jewish population - I don’t know if I have seen anyone document the initial stories that everyone was concerned with (only the brands response to being called out) but makeupcrazy atleast shared to her followers and I saw the stories around Oct 7 justifying what happened to civilians. I know I can get a little heated on the disconnect as I have seen hate crimes occurring in Australia very recently and I would just like influencers to be mindful if some brands are actively promoted whilst others are boycotted how it can appear.

Unearthly has amazing shifty shadows but they aren't as textured as some of my ER palettes. I don't know if this helps at all, I hope maybe a little☺️ I didn't consider this going into the ranking, but I do see where you are coming from, a part of my wishes I would have maybe done a community poll.

I am now looking into the Huda Beauty issues, and am very sorry that I am just now learning of some of these things. I will be digging in further & doing my research.
