Hong Kong City

Hong Kong is a modern metropolis along the South China Sea. Formerly being part of the British empire, power was transferred back to the People's Republic of China in 1997. The city is known for its exceptional skyline, arguably one of the most beautiful in the world, its deep natural harbour, and is generally considered to be a fusion of Western and Chinese culture.
The video is meant as an introduction into Hong Kong, and contains various topics, relating mostly to history, culture, and the economy. The material was made in 2010, on an overland trip from Qingdao in China to Karachi in Pakistan.
Other than royalty free audio, I have used the following tracks as background music:

Can you please explain what sort of freedom Hong Kong enjoyed when it is under British rule? You can reply in 中文 if you like, or 廣東話 if you like. Or you can choose not to reply if you like. I doubt that you will see this message but I am just writing for the sake of writing, just like many writers whose work aren't seen by people.
