Steg doesn't get the credit it deserves, imo. It was Tornado before Tornado, using speed and power to dominate opponents and wreck their innards through slamming them into walls. Definitely was the proof of concept for a successful rambot in Robot Wars.

For a reserve robot Steg.o.saw.us did really well first time, but that fight with Hypno-Disc impressed me the most, and Mentorn think push bots are boring, when Steg reached the grand final in the third series of the show.

yep its just like series 1 robots because most of them are just pusher bots too which I have no doubt that Steg o saw us would have beaten series 1

Maybe the greatest underdog story of Robot Wars. That Hypno-Disc fight was an epic, a valiant way to go out. The only blemish on this great run is that terrible judge's decision on the Gravedigger fight.

The Steg machines are the equivalent of a near perfect movie trilogy, the first 2 are great and the 3rd just plain sucks.

@@xtheamazingax are you sure mate considering that the steg team even said that armour on the sides of steg o saw us was there weakest part of the robot and hypnodisc torn right through the sides like paper of steg o saw us why did they continue to start the match and the sides of steg against hynodisc I don't know so you might wanna double check your priorities mate

Of all the steps i still think this was the best one. Whilst steg 2 and 3stegs had better weapons Stegosaurus had so much more impact on the series.

Mitjitsu that’s pretty much what it does! This was back in the days where static spikes were still considered weapons.
