And I ve got 1 question more. In the sampler track they included a botton to block changes when you load another sound, so nothing will be reset. But I cant find a useful feature like this in Groove Agent. The only way to avoid any filter pitch etc changes, is to make use of the feature replace sample and find your sound by the windows browser. Do you have any trick there to avoid all these resets?

Not that I'm aware of. Short of saving your progress in the user library, (which I appreciate isn't what you're talking about here) I think it's all pretty much without a safety net. I do my best to learn all the features, but I might have missed something. All I can suggest is posting your question on the Steinberg forum to see if anyone else has any ideas, sorry :(

I ve got a question about the browser in GA, is there a way to make use of your mediabay changes, so that i can browse all my own files in the GA browser by category, style etc? What I mean is, you click on a harddrive, and I want it to show me all files from subfolders categorized. As you can do it in mediabay.

Sadly not. They look the same, but they're not. Changes you make in one are not reflected in the other.

@@OneManAndHisSongs Sorry, but I think you re wrong. If you go to one of your samples in the mediabay and assign it to sub category, for example Snare Drum and you look for that sample in the GA Browser it will have this sub category assigned. My problem is that the GA browser doesnt show the content of sub folders. You have to open the folder where the sample is located to see it in the browser. That makes it dificult to browse fast.

Ah. Right. I thought you were asking about the media bay attributes. Sample attributes are stored in the wav files themselves, but as you say your searching facilities in GA itself are limited.
