This week (or month, I am late) I have got hold of my 1980's Steinberger GM4TA. Designed by Ned Steinberger, the son of a Nobel prize winning physicist.
This guitar originally belonged to John Watt of Fischer Z and was then acquired by Stuart Bruce, the engineer and producer (Duran Duran, Kate Bush, Band Aid). He had it down at his studio near Bath in Somerset, UK, where it was also used on records and strummed a few times by John McLaughlin.
