Wow! Reminds me of the Stacia days. Saw Hawkwind several times on 70s and 80s. Always top dollar performances

Love Hawkwind, I saw them live in 1973 during the Space Ritual tour...! Moorcock, Stacia, Lenny, Nik, they were ALL there...

Saw them too at Blackburn's Kings Hall just before Xmas 1972; (my dad bought me the ticket for Christmas) and the gig blew my mind. I saw them lots more after that. The last time this April 2024 at Manchester's Academy. The original line up and others up to the late 80's /early 90's should be inducted into the Rock &Roll Hall of Fame.

This just SHITS on any contemporary video, maybe any video EVER? Thanks for bringing this vid back to the world of the living, rather than lost to memories, dusty archives, thank-you.

Wiki Peadia says Stacy left Hawkwind in 1975 and did not return to the stage till July 2019, appearing with former Hawkwind member Nik Turner and contemporary dancer Ms. Angel at Kozfest. So who the hell was dancing in front of me in the early hours at Glastonbury 1978? I always believed it was Stacy of Harkwind. But some one or some thing has to be wrong and I am sure it was not me unless there was an other naked female dancer. Or is wikipeadia wrong? Any help appriciated.

PS - it reminds of that music recorded by Pink Floyd for a movie about fractal theory, with Artur C. Clarke, Stephen Hawking and Mandelbrot.

I booked Hawkwind @ Bristol uni. before "Silver Machine" evoked some level of fame. I have the vinyl albums & remember Stacia dancing.

Stacia was bloody awesome, think the vid pays some sort of homage to her because the girl in the vid does look a bit like her..

Hawkwind always had this side to them, there was at least one track like this on almost every album, though in the beginning not necessarily with a rhythm. The first track like this with rhythm appeared on "Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music". They even made two whole albums like that, "It is the Business of the Future to be Dangerous" as Hawkwind and, apparently because many fans did not like this side of Hawkwind and were disappointed by that album, "The White Zone" as Psychedelic Warriors.

To be offended by nudity is to be offended by the works of the great spirit, god, or whatever. ALL creation is beautiful, from your dog, to a dolphin, a gemstone or a man/woman, all are created with perfection, regardless of individual appreciation. This isn't porn, it isn't peeking at vaginas, - this is tasteful, decent, wonderful, oh, and the music is great. [i don't personally know the lady but i am sure she is also a fine person].
