Been lost for many months...my last cover was back at the early of July, when i had covid, so much time to get it done...after that, i had too much work and summer to handle a studio session again...
UNTIL NOW !!!
I start the "new drum cover season" with F*****G #morbidangel and #summoningredemption , a song from my favorite morbid angel album, which i was listening at my early age.
Pete Sadoval is a mf beast and influence in my today's drumming.

I was out in Las Vegas and was asked by Rutan to come to the MORBID ANGEL show-- they were out with Pantera…. He played this song on his pro drum kit and it was absolutely amazing!!!! Great job my brother!!!!!! ❤😊😮

How hard is it to cover Pete Sandoval? This track seems like it’s very demanding and well I think this is awesome sauce. Thank you for posting this. When I first heard Morbid Angel, I was young and it just spoke to me. What I found most alluring in Morbid Angel’s works with Pete Sandoval is the DRUMS. I love watching Morbid Angel on drums.

bro!!! for start....thank you for all the good words!!! 2nd...yes..it is very difficult cause this mf was a beast back then..he is still is,but with a different approach...gateways to annihilation is my personal favorite album from them... this specific song is a pain in the ass...word.... pete is an old influence for me and i owe him a lot ,for my drumming.he did what he did and put his name on death metal drumming gods from very early years!

Dude I bet you need so much stamina to play this! This was one of the first songs I heard from Morbid Angel. I was 16 at the time (i'm 36 now) and I fell in love. Gateways is probably my fav MA album. .

@@Yukeena it is my favorite album too...I can't put the rest far from the top though...atmosphere,top production,song that made history in death metal music for sure!you need lot of stamina for sure to play it...and think that their drummer makes it in a full gig,playing them absolutely correct!

Hey bro!!thanks for your kind words!! In this video I don't do heel down..basically I don't do heel down at all ,except the heel-toe at doubles ,which I don't use them very often (in my videos ,you can find them only at humanity's last breath video)...I do some swivel and just straight heel up hits combined just to save energy,balance issues and maybe mostly cause I'm not a swivel master,so it is still hard for me to keep it like the at the whole song.
