If you don’t know, Shift up would never do something like this without being forced. They usually add options to remove clothes, and they normally respond to fan criticism with a fix or at least an alternate player option within a week. Sony forced them to break marketing laws. Yes what Sony did is illegal. They advertised the game as uncensored, they advertised some of the outfits that are now unavailable in the game as advertised. That is illegal in the US. Been playing shift up games since destiny child launched. They’ve always been hyper receptive fan first devs. The shiftup executive looked like he was force fed shit when making that lame defense of Sonys dumbass about how it was intended to protect them from legal liability. 5:55 YES and what Sony made shiftup do, is illegal. The thing is, we can't boycott Stellar Blade because if we do that the people that were shitting on it from the start win and the studio dies. If this was a big studio, I'd buy the game used bug I can't take that liberty with this one, so I got the disc version and am playing it offline uncensored.

dude i don't even buy on year one anymore, to many damn games do shit like this, with bethesda it's buggy broken launches and other forgotten shit they should have had in the game at launch, and other games it's some sneaky shit, but they also launch their fair share buggy or broken games, the gaming industry is a shitshow right now, hell i would argue it's been a working shitshow for over the last decade straight. now it probably started earlier, but for me it was when assassins creed unity's launch, that was a shitshow but year after year i kept seeing games launch the same ways and i just figured the new wisdom was to not purchase at launch because of shit like this, but hey the benefits don't end there, if you are willing to wait a few years after a game has been released, more than likely that game will become fixed and all the DLC will drop and the game overall will be far cheaper because everything was released and all the bugs have been fixed, well with a bethesda game i doubt all bugs and glitches are hammered out, but most of the major ones will be fixed.

What's happened here is kind of clear to me, but it's still all under NDA's and so I have to educationally guess. Several outfits were changed since the trailers they came from, meaning, this project was being censored from the start. I found out most likely why, too. Japan, the promise was of releasing it uncut everywhere, and Sony of Japan is SUPER strict on sexy content (Even Last of Us II was censored there, on top of TONS of anime type games in regards to outfits, they censored more games recently, too just this month). So, to earn a Cero D rating which requires LESS GORE, and appease Sony about the sexy issue, they compromised and censored the game all along, but Sony missed a few outfits, and the outfit gore (back in the demo & now it is merely a few fading specs of blood) just before launch.

Sony of Japan isn't the problem when it comes to the outfits considering they aren't worse than a LOT of games that have released on Playstation in the past, Playstation HQ is in California and the only issue with the outfits would be that they are targeted towards appealing to men. Playstation has no qualms with other forms of sexy content like BG3. The blood and gore is a lot more cut and dry because lots of countries have strict regulations regarding it more so than sexually provocative outfits.

Sony has multiple division: Sony Corp., SIE, Sony Entertainment, Sony Music, Sony Pictures, and a lot more. SIE(the gaming wing of Sony) has a content regulation policy that doesn’t allow anything that can be categorized as “fan service”. SIE has moved to California in 2016, and has applied content regulation policy around late 2018- early 2019. Sony Japan doesn’t deal with content regulation because the entertainment division is in the US. If there was something additionally censored in Japan, it’s probably made due CERO. But yeah, I know a couple of outfits that were censored even before the game went gold. By comparing them to the trailers. I’m sure that SIE forced Shift up to make a lot more changes that we will never find out.

Sorry gamers but no it does not compare to platinums combat in nier automata, if you played bayonetta or automata you would see immediately how clunky stella blades combat is. Not to mention how 2D the characters from stella blade actually are. Its an OKAY game but its nothing special, its filler until the next big project game releases.

Enough have cancelled their PS plus subscriptions that Sony has turned to forcing Helldiver 2 PC players to link their Steam account to a PS account to keep playing...right as their shareholder meeting is around the corner. So I speculate they had enough leave to make them sweat, and are trying to strongarm the Helldiver 2 PC players into bolstering their numbers.

@@TheRealJohnux False. They, Playstation, remove access from playing. They, Valve, are only letting a hand full of players get a refund with 100-ish hours at this time. It's an online only game. You cannot play it without server connection. You'll need to basically take all the game files, basically recreate the game from ground up, just to host on your own server. This is illegal btw. Some communities have done this with older games to help preserve them. It's a weird grey line area. Players on Steam refuse to create/link their Steam to PSN. Why? Because we don't trust PSN's bs claim for "security." PSN has had a MAJOR amount of data breaches. Especially undocumented cases over 160-ish times within the past decade. XBox, aka Microsoft, accounts are more secured than PSN's. Real reason Playstation is doing this? Over 400 THOUSAND players, mostly Steam users, without PS accounts. Data collection. That's literally the reason. Devs pointed their fingers to Playstation. For both games. You either support a publisher fucking over amazing devs, or you don't. That's the bottom line.

And what about the people who bought the digital version (like most people, including myself)?
