I honestly believe that trainer McPeek would have a better shot in the Belmont with Torpedo Anna than with Mystik Dan. Oh well what do I know?

Yea i do to plus he wouldnt have had to push her the 1 1/2 only 1 1/4 an that extra distance is a killer especially for a filly def should have ran in this years belmont i have no clue why he didnt unless hex thinking super big an prepping her for the breeders cup classic? Because i truly feel shes the best 3yo in training colt or filly reminds me alot of rachael i was at keeneland the day she broke her maiden an trust me she surprised hernandez even saw him in the circle an just said wow that was a big move shes goin to be real special

Thorpedo Anna will take on the big boys at the Travers. Drew the rail. How she will do in the 1 slot and can she handle the 1 1/4 miles? A filly hasn't won the Travers since 1915. Dornoch and Fierceness will be contenders.

I find myself repeatedly returning to watch this magnificent filly's races. She's currently 6:5-1-0 and 3 for 3 in 2024 with her wins in the GIII Fantasy Stakes, GI Kentucky Oaks, and GI Acorn Stakes. Needless to say, Thorpedo Anna is the creme de la creme of this year's crop of three-year-old fillies and is well on her way to securing her name in history as one of the top female thoroughbreds that has ever graced the racetracks of the United States of America. Hopefully she remains sound and will have a four-year-old season next year. Perhaps her name will someday be mentioned alongside those such as Lady's Secret, Genuine Risk, Personal Ensign, Zenyatta, Rachel Alexandra, Rags to Riches, Beholder, Songbird, Monomoy Girl, Malathaat, and so on.

I have to give you a thumbs down on this an not because I disagree with what you say its because you mentioned alot of fillies except the one i feel was the heart of heart she won the acorn an came back to win the coaching club oaks her record was 11 starts 10 wins an 1 DNF please never start your list without putting the queen RUFFIAN at the start she was a star!!!!!!!

I know there’s people on here who believe after watching this race will say she would have beaten them boys today. Great run. Good horse. Just Y I set the pace she sit behind and ran through them. You think that how them boys will run today?? Check the history of fillies that run against them boys and win how they did after that. It’s not easy to run against 12 colt horses.

I would have loved to seen her in the Belmont but we have to understand it’s a business and they have to get the sure money. She could have run and got blown out in the Belmont they knew she was the horse for the Acorn. Would have been nice to see it though and I do agree she wasn’t running against the same horses that she would have faced in the Belmont.

She was super impressive, that's for sure. No doubt there will be some second guessing but McPeek said he didn't want to run both 'Anna' and Mystik Dan against each other. There's plenty of time left for her to face the boys.
