Is it possible to gift ships to allies or to encourage them to build fleets/expand? I think it would be useful to buff up the Blorg's allies for future "friend wars," and to overall increase "friendship giving" - a holiday where the Blorg forcefully makes friends.

How I wish there would be a way to have meaningful scenarios on the level of Babylon5. Like, predecessor vessels are found on some Mars planet and they start waking up beyond the rim, and the whole galaxy needs to align forces to win the battle of a century. And trickiest part would be to form right alliancesm to assemble right forces, or, maybe, do a difficult joint research for a specific new type of ships that would help the battle.

+Ben Lapping, On some of the other media not the Blorg stream they have end game events such as a AI revolt or invading aliens from a different dimension which may prevent this. In addition the fallen empires also seem to be included to prevent snowballing as well, where they will declare war with you if you research something they don't like or colonize a holy world. In addition to both of those points as a paradox game the AI gaining up on you may also prevent this as well, once they have the A.I. issues worked out

+Grumpsters Food seems to be used just for creating pops on that single planet. So once maxes maybe switch enough out but keep just enough to keep them alive? But you can trade the 3 and then strategic resources that are found by techs

So no tactical options for your ships? Like if I build a long range / carrier ship I would want it to stay at max distance and retreat as soon as shields drop to 50% while having close range ships going in to attack with all weapons available instead.
