That's really depends on Commodities Consolidation and your skill to efficiently produce consumer goods (because upon consolidation all current consumer goods are converted to unity in 3 to 1 proportions). If you are focused on farming unity from all sources, and then just dump huge amount of CG every 10 years then you can ascend after 20+ years.

Dude you just played the game. If you want to go crazy with nanotech. One word. Livestock. It's broken the amount of you make out of livestock slaves more than any planet more than any system. Just unbalanced.

@@vainthatoneoverhere I know. Individual machines are just better. And it's even better if you combine it with warrior culture. Make ecumenopolis with that produces naval capacity and use nanomachines to fill it. Let's be real right now nano machine ships are too fragile and too expensive to be used on anything rather than filling the naval capacity and sitting on base. You can reach naval capacity on 4-5k with Corvette that cost nothing other than fps. But the amount of diplomatic weight you gain from that can't be achieved even with megastructures.

@@vainthatoneoverhere a cool build if would like to try on a video would be individual machines with syncretic evolution. Make thrall worlds that produce slaves and resources like crazy and gather your livestock in a prison world. Make out of your slaves food and energy credits. Ascent to nanomachines and make nanites also out of your livestock. Catalytic processing to make ships that goes to war and nanite to make your ships that stays at home. Also make ecumenopolis to increase your naval capacity to even greater heights. The influence you would make would be enough to own all systems. The diplomatic weight you would make will be enough to become emperor even if the whole galaxy disagrees. It's not strong build because natotech is not a strong ascension. Sadly modularity is far stronger than anything right now. Yes even virtuality.
