How do you get tech for precog computers? I used a psionic ascended empire and tried to steal fallen empire tech and have not found it yet... I did get access to psi jump drive from the Shroud once. Is there a garunteed way to access it, otherwise I was stuck with sapient computer.

@@roblaquiere8220 Like with psionic shields, you can only get the psi jump drive and precognition interface from a special shroud event. It has a higher chance of success with the psionic relic.

Have you considered using a small fleet with jump drives to exclusively hunt the builder ships? Even if you loose them, if they cant expand, its worth the losses of just enough ships to kill a builder.

Prehaps you should force in every Empire you have ever created in single Galaxy for your next play through. And create YOUR perfect Empire. It could be fun to watch the bloodbund vs the protectors for example.

What's the Crisis strength set to for this run? After watching so many of your videos I've been slowly getting better and better, optimizing my planets and fleets more efficiently for instance, and recently played a Grand Admiral game (with scaling difficulty active) with a 3x Crisis difficulty and that was somewhat underwhelming. I mean I was a bit over-prepared being a Voidborn start focused on research and economy but the rest of the galaxy wasn't really having to many issues with them either, 'them' being the Contingency btw, in fact we'd crushed two Sterilization hubs in less than a decade and were moving in on a third. I've seen what 5x can turn out like in your videos (sweet jesus over 1 million fleet power) and 3x doesn't seem like it'd be a challenge unless you've been having problems (which I'll admit I hadn't, only had one person to worry about and they were easy to body block with my advanced tech while my powerful allies and a friendly fallen Empire held everyone else at bay) and even then the galaxy at large looked to be holding their own well enough even if I'd decided to stay out of it so it was less like a Crisis and more like a Khan uprising (which oddly enough hadn't happened) than anything else. Is it more a factor of RNG than anything? I mean the galaxy hadn't been wracked by any major wars so we weren't exactly scrambling for fleet power overall. We did have an ongoing War in Heaven, I guess having 3 awakened empires would have tipped the balance more in our favor assuming they would actually put aside their little war and fight the Crisis instead of each other but I can't say, haven't actually seen a War in Heaven until this game.

Maybe some fleets seem to sit around and do nothing to simulate a player micromanaging the fleet in only one area? I know the HOI4 AI got an update too where it'll focus on one part of a frontline at a time (if you attack hard in one part, it'll send the bulk of its forces that way to defend)

I have noticed after a lot of play time that the crisis AI tends to take a system then leave a fleet there until a base can be constructed then move the fleet or stay in a system until a station is built and a garrison fleet has arrived.

Yup, actually do have the auto-forge in this playthrough and I covered It in more detail the first time I found that out before, I do use the arcane deciphering quite a lot as I aim for the +10% research bonus It can give. :)

You should do a series where you load your game with super overpowered mods, and then see how fast you can beat the game

To me, that sounds like "Load your game with tons of mods, and then see if you can even make it to the late game before the crashing gets out of control." I love mods, but they generally speaking make it harder to win a game even if the only thing they do is buff you.

@@cOmAtOrAn It's all about their compatibility. As long as mods don't clash too much with each other you can have a stupid amount of them and not crash once or maybe once every 10 hours at most.
